Media - Where to find me

Connecting with educators, career practitioners, parents, students and families

You’re probably starting to realise that I love discussing education and career planning, and sharing tips, advice and information to help students and their parents understand that there are an infinite amount of exciting options out there, and there’s always a way to get into a course and career that lights you up.

In 2020 I was featured on the After The Bell Podcast, where I had an amazing discussion with fellow teacher and podcast host Laura about the way course selection works and the changes we think would benefit students, and what we would like to see happen in education.

I also contributed a guest post to The Tutoring Company’s website, sharing information about the VTAC process with their students and families.

In 2021 I was interviewed on The Student Space Podcast about VCE, ATARs, the VTAC application process and all you need to know about the transition from high school to further study.

Study Work Grow published an article of mine about ATARs, explaining what it’s used for, how it’s calculated and what you can focus on to do well at school and get into a course and career you’ll love.

I also wrote an article for Mum Central for parents to help them get a better understanding of ATARs and how to support their children.

I’m currently partnering with Monash Tech School, a leading STEM education facility in the Monash Precinct, to connect episodes of my podcast, Course and Career Chat, to the Victorian Priority Sectors that they focus on in their work with students. Monash Tech School is also sponsoring a series of episodes of the podcast with guests related to key priority sectors to help students and parents get a better understanding what courses and careers in these areas are like.

Interested in collaborating? I’d love to hear from you! Contact me with the details and I’ll be in touch.
